Technology Questions Pre Test (This will not count as a part of your grade)

On a sheet of paper please write the following answers (you do not have to write the questions):

  1. What is Technology?
  2. What is design?
  3. What is a CNC Lathe?
  4. What is a CNC Mill?
  5. What is a Sensor?
  6. What are the steps for Engineering Design Process?
  7. What is the difference between hardware versus software?
  8. What is the first technology invention?
  9. What is an invention?
  10. What is an innovation?

Procedures:

  1. Starting Class – Students sit down start on bellringers. Wait for instruction once attendance is taken
  2. How to transition row by row – quietly; noise will qualify for starting over.
  3. At the seats, raise hand for questions, startup computers take keyboard mouse off of the computer gently.
  4. Where to put written documents – in the folders by the seating area.
  5. How to upload documents – go to submit assignments link, type first name, last name, browse and upload assignment.
  6. How to go to bathroom – must have a medical note on file, if so get pass from the shelf.
  7. How to leave class – students put keyboards and mouse up on computer and push in chairs

Possible Consequences

 

  1. Warnings
  2. Call home to parents
  3. Detention
  4. Referrals
  5. Removed from class
